The 2026 season is officially underway, and the La Costa Canyon lacrosse team kicked things off the right way—with a team BBQ that brought players, coaches, and families together to celebrate the start of what promises to be an exciting year. It was a great opportunity for the team to connect off the field, welcome new players into the program, and build the chemistry that fuels success once the whistle blows. There was plenty of food, plenty of laughs, and a shared sense that something special is building this season.
Energy is high across the roster. Every player is excited to compete and represent LCC, and that enthusiasm has already carried into early practices and workouts. From returning veterans setting the tone to younger players stepping up and making their presence felt, the commitment level has been outstanding.
