On May 1st, LCC goes head-to-head with Torrey Pines in what’s shaping up to be one of the biggest matchups of the season. The boys have been grinding for months for this one—now it’s time to show it.

But this night isn’t just about what happens between the lines.

It’s Teacher Night, where our players get to recognize the teachers who’ve had their backs in the classroom just as much as on the field. Each player will invite a teacher who made an impact—whether that’s pushing them to be better or just being someone they could count on.

So yeah, expect a little extra juice in the building.

On Friday, April 17th, LCC takes on San Marcos—but before the first whistle, we take time to honor the guys who’ve given everything to this program. It’s Senior Night, and this year we recognize 11 seniors who have worn the Maverick jersey with pride.

Each senior will be honored alongside their parents in a pregame ceremony that never fails to bring the feels. Years of early mornings, tough losses, big wins, and brotherhood—all wrapped into one night.

It’s not just about lacrosse. It’s about the journey, the commitment, and the legacy these players leave behind.

Then, once the ceremony wraps, it’s game time. And you already know the boys are going to bring it.
